Speak or hold back

 See Mark 14:61 and Matthew 26:63

When Jesus was accused and treated unjustly He kept silent!

Why?

When the charges were false He didn't seek to justify Himself

But ..... when He was asked if He was the Christ He said - Yes to that truth

He knew when to speak, He knew when to hold His tongue

What about us? Are we careful with our words?

Like David said in Psalm 19

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

And in Proverbs 15 it says

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
