If we consider the fuller understanding of worship to be "worthy-ship"
this suggests that God is worthy of all that we can give Him - our praise, obedience, reverence and submission
But if we consider what He is worthy of, it goes much deeper
If we don't trust Him in certain situations in our life then we are basically saying - You are not "worthy" of my trust in this situation
If we fail to walk in faith we are saying - You are not "worthy" of my faith at this time
If we are not obedient to a word He has given us - we are saying - You are not "worthy" of my obedience in this matter
It is so much easier to sing songs of worship in a group situation than it is to live a life of worship - day by day, situation by situation
But true worship is outworked in daily life.
So let us become a people of true worship who truly believe that God is "worthy" of our all
