Psalm 23 says
As our shepherd, Jesus gives us all that we need
and maybe some of us feel that He disappoints us in that area
That He doesn't
give us all things
But ....... it's because we don't see the difference between what we "want" and what we "need"
Many of us want money, success, material things etc
But Jesus knows
that what we "need" is peace, joy, love and relationships
The immature
people are like children who want many things that are not good or helpful for them
But mature people
know the things that are needful and seek those things in life
And Jesus is the
shepherd who gives us what we need
So that the mature
people are thankful
But immature
people are disappointed and wanting more
How do you see
yourself in that way?
Are you mature knowing what you need and finding it in Jesus
Or are you immature and
"want" many things that are the desire of the flesh?
