God's purpose

God has an eternal plan through the ages and He uses His Kingdom people to outwork that plan in each generation. We each have a part to play. We are not just here to live out our life until we die but we have a purpose within the plan of God. From Proverbs 2 My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my instructions. 2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. 3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. 4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasure and you will gain knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord grants wisdom! For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy These verses really inspire, encourage and motivate me. The idea that wisdom can enter my heart and take up residence there - amazing. But we have to seek it, desire it, search for it and turn our ears in that direction to receive that hidden treasure that God reserves for His people.
