God's purpose

God has an eternal plan through the ages and He uses His Kingdom people to outwork that plan in each generation. We each have a part to play. We are not just here to live out our life until we die but we have a purpose within the plan of God. So when we face challenges and tough times in life do we moan and complain and wonder why life is so tough or do we see it as training and preparation for something significant in God’s eternal plan. When Jesus came to earth He knew what He had come for and He fulfilled His commission In the same way each of us is here for a purpose within God's eternal plan and we need to know what it is so that we can live it And for myself I have this printed on a small card that I keep with me so that I don't forget - I have been sent from heaven to do a work here….. before eventually returning to heaven So …. The Bigger Picture

Have you noticed how some of us so easily become focussed on our own life as if it is the only thing that exists in the universe. Asking ourselves such questions as – am I doing enough (for God)? Is what I am doing valid ? Am I becoming what God wants me to become? etc However, I’ve been considering how it’s not about me and my life – it’s about God and His purposes - which are eternal - His plans took shape before I was ever dreamed about and His same consistent plan will run for a good while longer beyond me. We need to be willing to walk in the unknown in many ways. We need to chill out more and rest in Him - live by faith; exist by faith and pursue relationship with God and everything else will make sense in His way It’s not for me to see, or to know or to be satisfied with how it’s developing - It’s God’s plot; God’s purposes; God’s plan and He knows where it is going - He just wants us to be - be on board and go where it goes.
