From Proverbs 2

My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my instructions.
Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.
Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.
Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasure

and you will gain knowledge of God.
For the Lord grants wisdom!

For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy

These verses really inspire, encourage and motivate me.

The idea that wisdom can enter my heart and take up residence there - amazing.

But we have to seek it, desire it, search for it and turn our ears in that direction to receive that hidden treasure that God reserves for His people.

Those people who take time to search out the riches of God and the deeper revelations that He has for us.

We may think we understand some aspect of God's truth and never take time to visit that "truth" again but whatever we know in God whatever we have experienced in God there is always a deeper level to go. And while we are on this earth there will continue to be deeper and deeper levels to be revealed on every aspect of God and His word

For as it says in Isaiah 55 God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways.

And that same thought is in Isaiah 40:12 -> and in the latter chapters of Job

But i don't want to continue this thought as far as I could take it as I think I would lose some of my readers - but be inspired to seek those hidden treasures and let God's wisdom enter your heart ❤

A comment. This is probably an obvious thing to say but sometimes the obvious can be helpful when, if we are searching and so here it is.
Wisdom.
We often come against difficulties during our walk, where we need to make a decision for one way or another.
Very often we rationalise our decisions, weighing the balances, the pro’s and con’s.
We believe we have made wise judgement after we have spent much time pursuing every avenue.
Our thought processes can be dependent upon previous experiences, our own limited knowledge but the Lord says.
2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. 3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.
Possibly the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was placed in the garden for this reason. Would they seek answers from the Lord or what UK's they reach out and come to their own conclusions outside of God? Tye Lord has no problem with them seeking the fruit from Himself but..
Solomon asked to be able to make wise judgement. The writer to the Hebrews admonished his readers as they were still banes unable to make wise judgement and Paul encouraged the knowledge of good and evil, to not be babies, 1 cor 20. Jesus too encouraged us to make wise judgements - Matt 7:3.
When we are faced with difficulties - awkward decisions, there is normally a ‘God thought’ to consider when we ‘tune our ears to wisdom, cry out for insight’.
My thoughts are not your thoughts, says the Lord, but His thoughts are available to us when we ask.
