We so easily settle into the idea that life is about "me"
And lose sight of the fact that it's about God
And God's creation and His eternal purpose
It's not about "me" and please make my life good
It's about these three elements
His name, His glory and His kingdom
He can do amazing things in our lives
But ........ He does them - for His name, for His glory and for His kingdom
When He gave Hannah a son the main reason wasn't too give her the baby that she wanted
His main reason was to bring forth a prophet - Samuel
When He gave Abraham and Sarah a son in old age the maim reason wasn't to give them a son and an heir but because He wanted to build a people and a nation for Himself
When He took Esther to become queen in the court of Xerxes
It wasn't to give her a comfortable easy life
But it was so that she could be used to bring victory when the Jews were under threat from their enemy
God is working out His eternal purposes through His people
Do you see where He is using you?
