From Proverbs 5
For your ways are in full view of the Lord,
And He examines all your paths
or
For the Lord sees clearly what a man does,
examining every path he takes.
God not only sees what we do and what paths we take
But ...... He examines them and evaluates them
Evaluates them from His perspective
Not my perspective, and not the world's perspective
But God's perspective
And things that we think are good -
sometimes God sees them as wood, hay and stubble (1 Corinthians 3)
and will carry no good fruit into eternity
We need to be living and acting from God's life within us and producing fruit
that from God's perspective is like gold
and will be stored up for us for eternity
