When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark,
you don't throw away the ticket and jump off.
You sit still and trust the engineer. Quote - Corrie Ten Boom
Consider Isaiah 50 v 10 where it says
Who among you fears the Lord
and obeys his servant?
If you are walking in darkness,
without a ray of light,
trust in the Lord
and rely on your God.
11 But watch out, you who live in your own light
and warm yourselves by your own fires.
This is the reward you will receive from me:
You will soon fall down in great torment.

Again this is saying - when you are in a dark place and can't see the way ahead
Don't rush to make your own plans (light your own fires)
Don't try to sort it out yourself when you can't see the best way
Trust Jesus - He knows the way ahead
Because - He is the way, He is the truth and He is the light
Don't jump off the train - trust the Engineer!
