Truth

Many people quote John 8:32 -
If you know the truth, the truth will set you free
And then .......... for their situation say
So .....what is the truth here?
I am loved by God or
He is my peace or
He has good plans for my future
and then seek to make that truth part of their being
and so be set free from what was binding them
But ........  it's not a question of
WHAT is the truth?
It's a case of
WHO is the truth
And Jesus says in John 1- I am the Truth
Jesus is the truth
So it's not knowing a precept, a concept or a doctrine that brings freedom
It's knowing the fullness of truth in Jesus
It's knowing the fullness of truth from Jesus
