Seasons in God

Autumn is a time of death
Things being blown away or dropping to the ground
Leading into a winter of seeming barrenness
But ......... through all these times the seeds and buds of new life are already in place
Ready to burst forth with new life at the right time
And if a tree or plant is healthy
Each new season of Spring it comes forth stronger, healthier and bearing more fruit
So .....  if your life seems barren just now
It's not a negative thing
But it's a time of consolidation and nurturing the things of past seasons
So that with a time of freshness ahead
Those gifts and God's qualities within you will come forth stronger, more mature and bearing more fruit
