God's Answers

Sometimes when we ask God a question
He doesn't necessarily give a direct answer
But talks from His perspective
As in Joshua 5 v 13 when Joshua asks the man of God
"Are you for us or for our enemies?"
"Neither" he replied!!!!
But I have come as the commander of the Lord's army
And Jesus so often did the same when He was here
Didn't give a direct answer but spoke to what was inside the person
Answered their unspoken things
And so - when we ask God a question we so often have a certain mindset of what we expect to hear
And we need to let go of this and be open
Ready to hear what is on God's heart
Not what is in our own mind or expectation
For example we may ask why God is not healing someone and expect an answer concerning the healing
Whereas God might be talking about the attitude within those who are caring for the sick person
Wanting to change something there before He will begin to consider the healing
So approach God with a very open mind, open heart, open spirit
Knowing that His ways are different to our ways
His thoughts are different to our thoughts
