In John 14 Jesus says – I go to prepare a place for you
And in the same way as natural parents prepare
a nursery for their expected child
with loving care & thought applied to every decision
and every detail
So Jesus is preparing a place for me
Unlike natural parents
who don’t know who they are preparing for
and what will best suit them
Jesus knows each one of us individually
He knows who He is preparing for
And so the place He prepares is custom-made
Uniquely planned to suit me exactly
He knows who I am & what I am like
And He prepares a place that will delight me
down to the finest details
when I finally enter the spiritual realm
