Whatever we are rooted in
will determine how we grow
or whether we grow.
A hydrangea plant produces pink flowers
when it is grown in one type of soil
and
it produces blue flowers
when it is grown in another type of soil.
What it is rooted in affects what it grows
What we are rooted in will affect who we are
and how we grow
So …. if we are rooted in Christ
We will produce the fruit of the Spirit
As in Galatians 5
But if we are rooted in the things of the world
It will be evident in what our lives produce
