David wrote the Psalms
because ……
he knew the reality of these truths in his life
He knew God’s protection in battle
He knew Jesus as a shepherd
But then we just pluck them out of the scriptures
and seek to see them realised in our own life
but without the reality or history behind us.
If we wrote our own Psalm ……
How would it read ?
What could we give testimony to?
We can’t live on David’s inheritance
We have to have our own
So …… make it personal
Write your own Psalm
and be encouraged by the testimony
that you carry
of the realities of God in your life
