Thoughts gleaned from The Message Bible …..
Jesus reveals what God has done & is now doing
and our lives should be a response to what we see God doing
as revealed by Jesus
But ….. Religion so often gets in the way
Religion is the well-intentioned efforts we make to …..
“get it all together” for God
But …… our religion tends to add on
supplement & embellish
rather than improving on the purity & simplicity of Jesus
and the result is we dilute the purity
and clutter the simplicity
Death to Religion !!!
