Imagine .......
a small boy wants to talk to a fish
what would he talk about ?
maybe about his bedroom; his garden or his day at school
but ......
the fish wouldn't understand
maybe about his friends; or football or TV
but ......
the fish wouldn't understand
maybe about his holiday; his trip to the farm or his dad's new car
but ......
the fish wouldn't understand
the fish wouldn't understand
so
what would the fish understand ??
very little I suggest
maybe swimming, frogs and other fish
but not much more
and maybe that is how it is for Yahweh when He wants to talk to us
He has many things that He could talk about
but ..........
we wouldn't understand !!
Only by the spirit can we begin to understand
the wonders of what God will share with us
