The verse I am blessed by at the moment is 2 Pet 1:3-4
which says
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness
through our knowledge of him
Through our knowledge of Him and relationship with Him
we have everything we need for life and godliness -
it is there for us if we draw Him into our lives
and abide in Him
and rest in Him.
Just knowing Him and fellowshipping with Him
empowers us for everything He wants us to do
and we can fellowship any time any place -
even when we are in our beds and waiting to sleep
we can spend that time with Him -
no cost, no appointments, no qualifications
just a hungry heart and a thirsty soul
can feast at His table
and drink from the fountain of life
And His table is always full
His fountain is always flowing
No crumbs, no scraps, no shortage
Abundance and richness
So if you feel like a pauper, or dry, or weary
Go - go to the banqueting table that is provided for you
