The world values riches and achievements and success
However
Jeremiah says in chapter 9
Don't boast about your wisdom, strength or riches
Rather boast that you know the Father
and understand Him
He who exercises kindness and justices
for the Father delights in those people
and in a similar vein in Psalm 119 (The Message Bible)
David says -
I delight far more in what you tell me about living
than in gathering a pile of riches
What do I boast in and what do I delight in ?
