John 8 in The Message says
You decide according to what you can see and touch.
I don't make judgements like that.
But even if I did My judgement would be true because...
I wouldn't make it out of the narrowness of my experience
but in the largeness of the One who sent Me, the Father
What a statement - making judgements out of the narrowness of our experience
and we think we have something to offer - how futile
whereas we should be making any judgements out of the largeness of the One who saves us
for God's most foolish thoughts and wisdom exceed the best thoughts of men
His storehouses are unlimited and beyond comprehension
Yet we choose so often to tap into our puny little minds
Know the things that are available out of the relationship we have with God
and access the greatest mind there is - and surprise yourself
But remember - God wants fellowship with us - He wants to keep us close
which is why His answer to today's problem
won't be the same as tomorrow's problem
Even if the problem is the same
God doesn't give us a formula or a method
He give us fresh and new every time
So that we keep coming bck to Him
And never stray too far from Him
