How did Jesus come?

Why did Jesus seem to break all the rules?
He touched lepers
He healed on the Sabbath
He forgave sins
He didn't wash His hands before eating
He let His disciples pick corn on the Sabbath
He spoke to women - a Samaritan at that etc .....
He was challenging the spirit & the heart of the people
Not the rules of the book
Do we live in freedom and from the spirit
Or do we live in bondage to rules and laws ??
