1 Thess 5 v 17 encourages us to - pray continually
or pray without ceasing
This means that we "live" a life of prayer
not have times set aside for prayer - although that would be "a part" of the living
1 Peter 1 in the The Message Bible says
Life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God
and we need to cultivate a constant awareness of God
and a constant communication with God
throughout the routine of our lives
rather than "God-slots" which become more and more infrequent
as life gets busier.
But knowing a constant connection with
and a constant awareness of God
Then we will more easily "keep in step with the Spirit"
as it says in Gal 5 v 25
and will more easily live life and view life from God's perspective
rather than from a worldly perspective
